In your opinion how does panarin to van for Miller sound?

I don't think Panarin would waive his NMC for Vancouver. Vancouver also needs to move salary this offseason, they can't afford to add to their cap sheet with that kind of trade.

I think if a Panarin trade were to happen, it would be to the Islanders or Panthers. And I don't think it would be a trade that would necessarily achieve the goal of creating a lot of cap space, getting futures or younger talent. Veterans with that kind of trade protection have too much control in the process for maximizing return.

It's funny you call laf a bust but all the habs fans are dead set on getting him because he's French lmao

Caufield was more referring to the possibility of a bridge deal. He's okay taking one and "betting" that he'll be able to continue his success and cash in next deal.

Rangers fans.. “Lafreniere is a bust. Panarin is lazy and can’t perform in tight checking hockey.”

Trades both for two 1sts and a top5 goal scorer in the league that has shown more grit and timely scoring in 1 playoff year than both these guys in 2 years.

Caufield is great but come on he’s not even a top 10 goal scorer in the league yet. Matthews, Ovechkin, McDavid, Draisaitl, Pastrnak, Rantanen, Thompson, Kaprizov, Robertson, and Point are 10 ahead of him off the top of my head

Goodrows buyout would give the rangers extra salary so why would we pay to move him???

Because NYR would be on the hook for 8-year of buyout penalty ?
