Excellent deal for both parties. 800k is less than what I thought he would get. If you aren't familiar with his game, a VERY similar comparison is Brandon Hagel, but with better stickhandling. I would not be surprised if he becomes a very solid top 6 forward. He has a high ceiling, especially now that he is playing in Tampa. Congrats ACE!!!

Startlingly low AAV, in my opinion. A player who has proven himself (at least to me) to be a solid bottom-6er. Good deal for both player and team.

Good deal. He was very noticeable in his few games against the Leafs in the playoffs. He's also an analytical darling. I like it!

Was very disappointed when the Jets waived him, more wasted talent from the Jets. Happy for Michael he gets a 1-way deal and good signing for Tampa

3rd line minutes continuously with Nick Paul will get him more & more confident I think this guy will be beloved by the fanbase by the time the contract is up

From waiver wire pick up to full time nhler. The Sharks reignite another nhlers career. Middleton, Barabanov, Donskoi, Megna, Eyssimont, Cogliano etc. Good for Eyssimont.

A testament to the coaching of Quinn and Boughner.

Super solid deal for the bolts, was very good against the leafs in the playoffs. To me anyways, he's a proven bottom 6 guy with lots of speed. Great signing!

Didnt know much about him till I saw him in Tampa, and he impressed. Very good 4th liner- and Tampa needs cheap guys on their roster- and this is about as good as you will find at that price.

If Buf had a real Nhl goalie this past year, they would have made the playoffs. Tbay might have to fight for a wildcard spot.

Good luck with the playoff pretender status.

It'll be ok, the Pens and Caps thought their playoff positions will forever be granted also.

Can't complain about the term or the $$$. Great zero risk deal for TB. Probably should fire his agent.
