Idk how disappointed people should be in the islanders. They did exactly as well as everyone knew they would

Itrs not about the isles, its about horvat. 2 points in 6 games for a guy you just acquiered for your best prospect and a 1rst is rough. That 8x8 contrtact is already looking bad

I had no idea Spurgeon was a 7.5 million dollar player. He has a few years left and he is 33. Is he really a good D? I mean plus 30 2 years in a row, about a half point per game, but only 5'9". I have never once noticed him and always thought he was a bottom 4 depth guy.

Ullmark was playing through an injury so it's not surprising he struggled.

Id say he is a below average first pairing dman. On a cup contender id rather have him as my 2nd best defenseman. Still very good defensively.

Dubois should be here, disappearing act took more stupid penalties then anything positive he contributed.

He IS a #2 top pairing defenseman. Brodin is the #1 in Minnesota, they just play on separate pairings though.

As for how good he is, he is much much better than people ever give him credit for. He's been pretty much overlooked for his entire career.

I can attest to overlooking him his entire career.
