15 points in 15 playoff games as an 18-year old! Granted, its in the second-tier Swedish league, but that's still impressive. I doubt they will play in the NHL this coming season, but they could at least provide some competition during training camp and that's always good.

You can never hate it when a team signs a first-round draft pick, particularly one as highly touted as Jesse Lekkerimaki, especially when he's already showing signs of fulfilling his promise.

Lekkerimaki is one of my favourite prospects. Was super surprised he was available at 15 for the Canucks. Excited to see what he becomes and glad he got an ELC.
