Konecny is too young, Lou only likes old past their prime guys.

There’s no reason to believe that Martin or Clutterbuck would clear waivers after the Ryan Reaves trade last year. Teams are always in need of grit and experience, even in a mentorship role.

Furthermore, if the isles traded for Konecky, they would need Philly to eat one year of Bailey at a reduced salary. Teams that refuse to take back salary end up getting pennies on the dollar. Also this isn’t even enough to get Konecky imo.

I don't know how this gets done but I like it for NYI. A big plus is Horvat and konecny are cousins.

I don't think Halak is a good backup option.
Maybe trade salo, ahí or bolduc and get a rd for the third line. Bring Romanov back to his natural side.

Someone like Durzi or Spence could be fire for 3RD . Gives them more mobility from the blue line

That would be perfect, but cost them.
What about Fabbro? What do the Preds need?

And do the NYI not change up their coach??? Lambert gone?
I mean he is not getting as much out of NYI players as Trotz with the same style.

Maybe Gallant, but he has a absolute **** playoff record. Right?

A 1st and a 5th round guy for TK? Maybe if you add another 1st that’s enough but as of right now that’s not even close and as someone said to make the deal work we would prob need to take a contract back from you guys for cap reasons which would make the deal even more if we have to take cap back to give a division rival our best forward and help with their cap situation

Who cares where he was drafted ? He had a great rookie AHL season.

1. We would be trading for a RW when that’s the deepest position on the team and our prospect pool so we don’t need him, 2. We would be trading for a kid who had a solid AHL season while giving you a PPG player in the NHL this past season, 3. The 1st round pick is in 2024 and if they cash in on TK it will almost guaranteed be a 2023 1st round pick. The deal as a whole is just not what the flyers would want

Konecny is overrated and not a 1st line forward. If the isles are trading their 1st it needs to be for a young top line forward
