I had an explanation in the description but Capfriendly must not have liked I pointed out Bedard shouldnt join a team that covered up a serious crime for over a decade. Just the morality of it should have him do it

Id rather have him go to the Bruins or Leafs if it meant the Hawks dont get rewarded

Bedard sure as hell isn't leaving Chicago for Montreal, if he pulls a Lindros he'd be going home to Vancouver. And that offer still doesn't land you Bedard.

Where was all this hate during the season then? Seems like you can't accept when Chicago won the lottery. This is just sad to see how many fans had such high hopes and how not getting him affects people.

The Quebec Nordiques ended up making a huge trade tree that ended them winning 2 stanley cups

The Flyers just got a elite Injury prone HOF for 8 seasons, didn't win any cups tho

The hate has always been there. It even showed with their own fans with attendance numbers plummeting. But sure lets just ignore someone being sexually assaulted, then writing the rapist a recommendation for another job and him assaulting someone again.

I think thats mostly because something even bigger happened in his career with his eye injury. Thats the first thing you think of when someone mentions Bryan Berard

Habs fans do not deserve a player like Bedard the media pressure would be insane . The kid would not be able to take a step outside , have a beer or bang a chick without it being front page news for a week in the JOURNAL MONTREAL or having them rip him if he gives an interview in english

Price was fine. The media and fans only hate you in Montreal if you suck. So dont suck and we will love you
