I can't see the Jets targeting one year of an LHD they have absolutely no need of if they move Scheifele. You'd have to think they target a position they need help at wouldn't you?

Perhaps, but honestly this team needs upgrades from top to bottom. Last couple of years has been a good indication that this team needs an improvement everywhere. I also think that Hanafin is someone they would try and lock up long term and if they can't sign him long term. His worth would be the same as Scheifele at the TDL. So they wouldn't be out anything.

Yes, they definitely need upgrades, I just think that the Jets would target positions that they can't fill in house as opposed to over stocking a position that they can easily fill in house.

I agree. I don't know why they haven't given Gawanke or Chisholm a serious look. if they are not good enough, move on from them instead of losing them in waivers. All of our players are just too small for the Central.

I do wonder though if Lowry could be a 2C. I know he is not that quick, but I think he has a good hockey IQ.

I would make room elsewhere. Schiefele would do wonders here. Maybe Toronto will take Kadri back

Lowry just doesn't seem to have the offensive flare to be able to pull that off, but the Jets may have no choice but to try it.
