Maybe two years ago, his value has gone down since that VGK series. He has played well recently but I don't think he's worth much more than that. Great skater but has the worst shot for an OFD I have ever seen and really struggles against physical teams.

No he doesn’t you obviously didn’t watch the Seattle series. No he doesn’t have a bomb but dude rolls 20 minutes a night and 30 points a season with no PP1 time. He’s 24 on a contract that is just going to get better and better as the cap goes up. COL isn’t moving him unless they have to and considering they just got $7M in cap space there is zero rush and if they can’t re-sign Toews not a chance they move him.

True if they can't sign Towes they definitely don't move him. And he did great against Seattle, but against other teams, especially in the Central, he gets worked, its defensive lapse after lapse. And he can't get PP1 minutes. If they could get more for him that'd be awesome, I'd love to be proven wrong.

I would disagree with some of that, he was the guy that had the revolving door partners because of the injuries, I also think he plays defense like the next generation does with positioning and stick work. He has been a plus 52 CF even strength guy the last 4 years. More positive happens then negative when he is on the ice and he isn’t getting bailed out with OZ starts. I get it he isn’t everybody’s cup of tea but when Hronek gets a 1st and 2nd in trade don’t think the Avs are just going to move him. Good conversation!
