Description

Trying to throw together a realistic CHI team next year.

Bailey seems like the exact type of influence you would want on Bedard. CHI would get assets along with him and maybe he can rebound a bit.

Compher was a no-brainer to me because he's a player who actually might WANT to sign in CHI as he is from Illinois. Same goes for Hinostroza.

I signed Brassard to add another veteran presences and brought back Kane to finish his career in as a Blackhawk. Playing with Bedard could be enticing.

I think CHI should bring back Toews so that Bedard can have a mentor for his 1st year. Otherwise, I can't see anybody else do it. Similar to Lemieux playing for Crosby's 1st year.

Not bad. I could see a lot of this happening. Agree w/ @Garak - Bailey can't play top line minutes any more and can't play w/ enough pace to keep up w/ Bedard. I'd target Bunting or Killorn, or maybe bring Domi back as a UFA. Kaner coming back is a pipe dream. Would be wildly popular w/ the fans, but can't see it happening. Hawks won't sign Gus either. Vlasic and Phillips up from Rockford will take 2 of 3 left D slots. Love the potential of that 2nd line w/ JTC as the C.

There are tons of possibilities. But within the confines of the roster you created, Reichel, Johnson, Raddysh, and Kurashev come to mind. I guess Kane too, but I definitely don't see CHI bringing Kaner back. Also, Guttman is likely to be a lock for an NHL roster spot.

Ha. Great minds think alike! Vlasic and Phillips have earned a shot at regular NHL ice time. And with DelMastro, Kaiser and Allen all turning pro, there's not enough minutes in Rockford for all of them anyway.
