1.
MTL
  1. Dubois, Pierre-Luc [RFA Rights]
WPG
  1. Dvorak, Christian
  2. Kidney, Riley
  3. Ylönen, Jesse [RFA Rights]
  4. 2023 1st round pick (FLA)
Additional Details:
This seems like a competitive offer and is the most I'd be willing to give up in a PLD trade. If this isn't accepted wait until free agency.
2.
MTL
  1. Sandström, Felix
  2. 2023 6th round pick (PHI)
PHI
  1. Primeau, Cayden
Additional Details:
Primeau hasn't shown any signs of improvement with MTL. With Hart's future uncertain maybe they'd want to take a swing on a young goalie for almost nothing? Send him home to Philly.
3.
MTL
ARI
  1. Hoffman, Mike
Additional Details:
If you have to give up assets to move him just keep him for the final year. Could also retain 50% if a contender was interested (which I doubt).
4.
MTL
  1. Bailey, Josh
  2. 2023 2nd round pick (NYI)
NYI
It's no secret the Islanders want to move Bailey. 5 mil on a playoff scratch is absolutely unacceptable for a contender.
    5.
    MTL
    1. Barré-Boulet, Alex
    2. 2025 2nd round pick (TBL)
    TBL
    1. Edmundson, Joel ($1,750,000 retained)
    2. 2023 5th round pick (MTL)
    Additional Details:
Eddy can still be a steady bottom pair guy in the playoffs. The MTL 5th is sent to a third team to retain 25% of his salary so he only has a cap hit of 875000.

Love this. Can tell you know puck.

(this is the only issue and its minor) Gotta get Xhekaj on the bottom pair tho, as much as analytics are important, his intangibles are actually huge for the team, he'll never back down from anyone, and will make players think twice.

Primeau loses his waiver exemption this year. Rather than losing him for free, I would rather get something for him even if it is next to nothing. I want the kid to succeed and I don't see that happening in MTL.

I agree I love what Xhekaj brings to this lineup. My thinking to start the season is to start Harris in the majority of games, but in the more tough Philly style games put Wifi in. Or, they could even play Harris on the right side, he played there for a lot of college and is comfortable in the position. But, I absolutely loved Kovacevic's play last year. One thing we do know though is that the 6 I have in right now won't all be available for long (injuries) and I don't think any of the 7 will have to worry about a lack of games.

Disagree with you for a change lol. We have plenty of goalie prospects and don’t feel like giving away a pick for him

Yeah I could see either argument. Honestly I could see Sandstrom asking for a mutual termination and going back to Europe if he isnt traded in the offseason. You might remember last season there were rumors he was gonna go back to Liiga but then we signed him and I doubt he signed to play more AHL hockey so

I agree I just don’t see the point in giving up a pick for a kid that probably won’t end up playing for the team
