We all have our guys but I'd hate if it was Reinbacker and Danielsons with the first two picks.

Wings need scoring more then anything so reinbacher can't be it. Hopefully they get Leonard and one of Moore/Barlow/Yager for 2nd pick

I think Dumba would be a nice pick up, but he isn't the player he was 5-6 years ago anymore. Should do fine until Reinbacher is ready to step in, though, if that is indeed who we end up drafting. Mazur being the only new addition on offense means we will really struggle to score. I doubt McIsaac makes the opening night roster.

I love the Reinbacher pick. I would like to trade up from 17th: Wood, Moore, Perreault, Yager or Barlow with that pick.

Best player should be taken. In 2020 Wings fans said we don't need a RD because we have Seider, Hronek, Lindtröm and Tuomisto. Now RD is one of the biggest needs.

Wallinder-Seider
Edvinsson-Reinbacher could be the best top 4 in the future.

Reinbacher is overrated for pick 9. We need scoring more then anything and those 3 forwards I mentioned are heads and shoulders above where reinbacher is as a player. If anything I'd take willander over reinbacher at this point

In the draft I ran, the only one of those three available was Barlow and I prefer Reinbacher over him.

9th Overall - Oliver Moore - C
17th Overall - Brayden Yager - C/RW/LW
Package 2 of the three 2nds and move up into the mid 20's and grab Dmitri Simashev - D

A solid 1st round

Which is insane because Barlow is A 30-50 goal scorer annually in the nhl and that's what they need more then anything. Reinbacher is so overrated it's not even funny. He's only being mentioned because this draft in the first round lacks top defense and it's forward heavy. Someone like zona gonna take reinbacher at 6 and help the wings get what they need by doing so. Mark my words and all the scouts, reinbacher is going to be the biggest overrated person in this draft. I would take willander over him and be happy

Except Simashev will be better than Wallinder & Johansson.

The guy is a defensive rock in the KHL at the age of 18. has some offensive skills but hasn't really tapped into it. Mainly plays the shut down role focusing on his defensive game. he's also 6'4" 200lbs and skates very well...remind you of anyone? *cough***seider***cough*

Wallinder or Johansson could be traded for RHD or forward help.

Reinbacher has better numbers in the Swiss National league than Roman Josi did at his age...and Roman Josi turned out not too shabby.

He won't be better then wallinder and it's just not a need to draft more LD, they can get way better players for what they need. If they go into mod 20s like you said I rather then take charlie stramel at this point

Stramel will be available in the 2nd round. No point in trading up for him.

Simashev is 35th on McKenzie's list; Reinbacher is 20th, Barlow is 8th
Simashev is 10th on Pronman's list, Reinbacher is 7th, Barlow is 20th.

In both, Reinbacher is rated higher than Simashev. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder I guess.

Meh no big loss if he is.

If they traded up into the late 1st to grab another forward I'd want Gracyn Sawchyn. His hockey IQ is much higher than Stramel's. He's an Anthony Cirelli type. Stramel is another big body but he'll end up being another Givani Smith. Big but just too slow for the NHL.

*Underrated. All those guys you mentioned plays against Juniors while Reinbacher plays against AHL level competition. It's not even close who's better right now lol.

"Heads and shoulders above" That's just an outright lie. Reinbacher plays against former NHL players while these guys you mentioned are playing against Juniors. Barlow would not have 30-50 goals if he had played in the AHL this season.

I don't agree and my opinion stands that Barlow will be a more productive and better NHL player then reinbacher

It's a lie? I'm glad you think that an opinion can be a lie, so I will stay with my original thoughts on what the wings need and that's scoring and this draft is filled with scorers and the dmen not as good. I'll take the 2 scorered over any of the dmen all day in round 1

Dmen not as good....It's like you don't even realize that Axel Sandin Pellikka has better numbers than Erik Karlsson did at the same age in Sweden's junior league...

ASP - 31GP 16G 20A 36PTS. 1.16PPG
EK - 38GP 13G 24A 37 PTS. 0.97PPG

That's fine, doesn't mean it will translate. Robbie schremp was the top scorer in juniors by far that year and his claim to fame is that he's good on penalty shots. ASP is the exact dman that the wings have stayed away from while drafting up until this point. Just don't see them going dmen with either pick, with how hard their prospect pool is screaming for scoring
