Great to see GMRF getting the team's draft picks under contract, their draft record to this point bodes well for the future. Nelson still has to marinate for a year or two in the OHL, but hopefully he'll be a major contributor to the Kraken down the line.

Extremely offensively talented. Wanted the Leafs to take him in the 2nd round last year, and was extremely surprised when I saw his name come up in the 3rd round. Another piece that'll bring more scoring to a team that has no problem scoring, and an ELC never hurts. Good signing

One reason why I think the Leafs have gone down the wrong road by keeping on trading draft picks. Just not enough players on ELCs which would help the cap. Leafs always seem to in a scramble mode in the off season to try to find some cheap older UFAs
