1st trade isn't bad. I doubt you get retention though. I suspect the ruskie will fall in the draft anyways.

I like the idea of trading down actually, especially to avoid the drama of Mitchkov,
But in this trade, you're taking two overpaid players who are massively trending down, (one with cocaine problems), trading back 3 places AND giving away a slightly overpaid 3line center.
I really don't like the trade. Take away 1 of Mantha/Kuzy & put in Washington's 2nd or 3rd best prospect.

lol what...

You want the Caps to add their 2nd or 3rd BEST prospect?! Also, "cocaine problems" is not accurate as far as you know (or any of us really) as he was caught in a video 4 years ago where the substance appeared

Are you one of those people who thinks Josh Anderson is worth a 1st + because that will tell me a lot about your hockey knowledge...

From all accounts within the team and from the outside, Kuz is the straightest arrow of the group nowadays. But y'all wanna keep labelling him as cocaine using problem child because of an incident over half a decade ago lmao

Lol you're a dummy. Has nothing to do with Anderson.
In Montreal, appearing in a video with cocaine IS a problem. Zach Kassian was shipped out quickly.
We're not taking TWO of your bad contracts AND moving back for you to draft ahead of us. This is a 1,2, 5 draft, in that it's top 5 heavy. Montreal has the fifth pick.
Do the math.
Educate yourself.
