Y'all need to realize that Conor Murphy isn't worth that

If we're moving up there has to be a guy or two in mind. I'm looking at Mathew Wood in the 15 range and Oliver Moore around 10th

The Canucks trade is fair but the Canucks can't do that and OEL doesn't waive. The Arizona trade from last season is what it would take for the Canucks to move 11OA, which means you're probably giving up 20OA, 35OA, and 56OA and that's dependant on certain guys already being gone.

We also should keep Murphy. The Hawks have WAY too many LD prospects that need protection defensively while they cut their teeth.

In the draft pick value chart I prefer (https://www.google.com/amp/s/soundofhockey.com/2022/06/06/examining-the-value-of-nhl-draft-picks/amp/)

14 overall is worth about 300 points
44 overall is worth 78
56 overall is worth 48
120 overall is worth 6
So that's 300 to 132
So you're saying trading away Granlund would need 168 added points which is equivalent to 27 overall.

No way is trading away Granlund going to cost a 1st. He would be much easier to buyout.

If CHI wanted 14 overall, it would cost them:
Chi 2nd (35) = 116
Ott 2nd (44) = 78
TB 2nd (52) = 56
NY 2nd (56) = 48

That would be 300 points to 298

The question would then be does Chi want one more a mid 1st or 4 2nds...

I don’t think buffalo gives up their first rounder or Rosen for Murphy. Philadelphia’s second rounder is a possibility, but not a first.

I would say the VAN trade should be swap 11th for 20th for taking Myers and Garland. If Benson is there at 11 that would be huge for the Hawks since him and Bedard grew up together playing.
