In what u inverse is this objectively fair? Habs ain’t moving Barron or the 24 first. They might say yes to kidney beck FL first and dvo but even then They would likely just wait until UFA

Take out Beck from your suggestion (leaving Dvorak, Florida first and Kidney) and Montreal MAY do that….or just wait until free agency

Take Dvorak out too and Winnipeg might accept.

Spoken like a true Montreal supporter... This why this storied franchise currently is sitting in the position that they are in. Honestly, you should start seeing the value that other teams have and value your prospects, players accordingly.. You guys are so of base that it isn't worth reading.

Hmm my opinion has literally zero impact on the organization or the position they are sitting in.

But nobody is giving that much value for PLD, even if he was signed for 8 years at a decent price. At the moment is a RFA one year away from being a UFA, he seems to want to come play for Mtl (or at least get out of Winnipeg), and he'll be looking to get probably around 9M$.

He's absolutely not worth 2 1st round pick (especially with the 2024 probably being a top10 again) + the 37th pick this year, plus a young promising D, and a good prospect like Beck.

There's literally 0 chance that Montreal give that much for a player like PLD lol. He's very good, but he has massive flaws in his game.

Fair enough, but being a voice/sounding board of the Montreal fan base and there are enough of you that provide that message (chat lines such as here and direct messaging to the Habs), what is a fair offer/value or return to Wpg at the trade deadline? Now be fair!!!

Well, realistically Montreal probably won't competitive next year so the idea of trading valuable assets (like 1st rnd picks / high prospects) at the deadline makes no sense for them. There's probably a team out there who would offer much more to get him as a rental for a playoffs plush.

For me the only way Mtl gets him is when he becomes UFA. That's why I don't see them offering more than a late first (FLA pick) + an okay player like Dvorak and a B prospect like Kidney. Then WPG probably says no and try to get more, but it makes no sense from MTL standpoint to give up more than that.

Thanks for clearing that up for me... I appreciate your response and explanation... Enjoy and good luck to the Canadiens!!!
