Description
More kids play. I just don't see a reliable 13 F/C, so we will have to overpay Jost, because IDK when Kozak will be ready for 4C/13 F. I went with J.Holl, for Power's partner. He's 2 years younger than Gudas.

Kozak is probably a carerr AHL'er.

Power does need a partner....that is Adams's mission

But him and Joker weren't bad...so i won't be mad if KA does nothing.

I think Holl is more stay at home and protect Power, and I think Joki would be good with Stillman staying at home. Joki can move the puck and has proven he can log 20 minutes, if there's an injury.

It's hard to find big RHD and I think Gudas will stay in FLA. Unless KA has some trade up his sleave, IDK.

For Dallas fans, I don't know your cap situation for next year, but we could retain more.

Not the most popular option for me, but Holl might be underrated.

I like him because he's younger than Gudas, and avg. close to 20 minutes a game.

Girard can play RHD and is very good when he played with a big and mobile partner. Mittelstad for Girard .

I don’t know what Girard makes and he’s a Lefty, I think we need a bigger RHD. I could see Kulich on 2nd L LW, and a 3rd Line of JJP, Savoie & Rosen in the future. Mitts has become a valuable player, it all depends on if they can extend him? For now, I would say no.

I remember during camp, P.Hamilton thought Kozak could develop into a 4C checking role.

It’s funny you consider giving Tyson Jost $1.5 million over paying him when he is currently making over $2 million. His qualifying offer is $2.2 million and I expect the Sabres to qualify him because he earned it. Might he be willing to sign a multiyear deal at $1.75 million? Maybe. But I’m not risking losing his rights by not giving him that qualifying offer.

TML fans are overly critical of Holl.
If you watch him, he is very strong in his own zone and rarely makes an error.
If you read the Leaf posts they also want to blame Marner for the Leaf's failure in the playoffs even after garnering a team high 14 pts in the post season.
If Buffalo could sign him @ $3,250,000 he would certainly help shepherd Power for the next 3 years.
@Tjm220 IMO Jost was a great pick up.
He not only found his game but made the players around him better.
$2,000,000 was an over pay as he was put on waivers.
He may sign a bit below market value after spending a year under Granato, just as Thompson, Cozens and Samuelsson did.

I mean it in terms of, it’s possible he’ll be a healthy scratch at times and 2.2 mill is a lot for a 12/13 F IMO.
