You’re not giving enough for saros. Preds could get a lot for saros if they decided to trade him. And if they don’t get that then they will extend him in a couple years and do a transition from him to askarov like they did with rinne to saros.

It’s probably a little too rich for a goalie, especially when they are getting a decent one in return. I would remove Casey or Sharangovich.

Huge difference in value between those two. Remove Casey and the Preds laugh you off the phone, remove Yegor and it's almost the same package

Of course there is a difference in value between the two. No contest there. Saros is a top-10 goalie quite easily. Vanecek was top-15 this year, but in reality is probably close to 20-25 range. Devils definitely add to Vanecek…but it’s not like we are jumping from Blackwood to Saros.

Saros is arguably a top 3 goalie in the league that has no reason to be traded.
