Habs have no interest in Heinola, as we're already loaded at young LHD. Habs aren't trading the 5th overall pick for 18th.

Heinola couldn't even stick in WPG, and you think he's gonna jump over Matheson, Guhle, Edmundson, Harris and Xhekaj on Montreal's left side ? Montreal is already carrying 9 defensemen on one-way contracts, and LHD is the ONE position where they don't need depth or prospects. Aside from the name mentioned above, we have Struble, Beaudin, Norlinder and Trudeau in Laval, plus Hutson and Engstrom in the pipeline. Heinola doesn't move the needle for Montreal in that trade. And they are not trading a Top-5 pick in this year's draft for Dubois...for the simple reason that NOBODY would. And you're just gonna have to deal with that !

My guy, so what? Heinola is 22 and will likely be better than 3 of that top 6 there - Edmondson, Harris and Jackeye. Easy.
