Jets would probably want their 2023 2nd back, Schwartz probably blocks the trade anyway, I would totally do that from a Jets perspective if Schwartz didn't block it and the 2nd was in this upcoming draft.

I really like Borgen, but there is no way you are getting a second, a young goalie, and a 4th for him. You are likely to either get UPL OR a late second.

Think that extra pick is much, but I do like Borgen

I do not get to watch Will as much as others.
He ONLY plays 16:22 min/gm fifth among Kraken D-men
Who among Dunn, Larsson, Oleskiak, Schultz would crack the Buffalo top 3 (Samuelsson, Power, Dahlin)?
So if none of them are better than Buffalo's top 3 why is he ONLY playing 16:22 min/game?
So, please tell me why I give up eiher a second or Luukkonen for a bottom pairing RHD?
I am not looking for a food fight, but from where I am sitting, he is not worth either one of those pieces.

There is a certain premium you have to pay for righty d. I think it's a different world if you are shopping for a lefty. The idea is to play him with power, I don't think we can clone Samuelsson and make the clone play right handed, but that's the job I would be looking at borgen for. As far as cost, upl hasn't shown me that I would regret moving him, he's just too inconsistent. And if you are ready to move on, you have to move him.

I'm surprised how adamant people are about this, not that I'm making fun of you in saying that, in fact I appreciate the attention in the comments. I'm gonna be completely honest here and say I think UPL more valuable than Borgen in just about every way other than current caliber, where Borgen has been an average middle pair D and UPL has been a below average backup. UPL had a weak season but is still really young, and the Dmen in front of him, whether they become one of the league's top D cores in the future or not, are currently just kinda mid at best, so his stats are able to be ignored to an extent. It's also easy to write him off after Levi blew onto the scene playing this flashy style that shows flashes of hasek (though I doubt he'll be quite as good as the GOAT), and though I think the Sabres should move him, it's not because I think he's bad, just I don't think it makes sense to risk Levi's development to help UPL's. If he got the haul he deserved, I think he can be sold for about a late 1st plus some, but based on what I've seen around ACGM, I decided to send Borgen over as he seems to be the opposite from UPL and get praise from Sabres ACGM rosters. This whole thing was made because I was bored so I doubt any of the moves I made were top end in realism (just look at the Byram trade), I just hoped to do something different from my normal Seattle rosters.

Edit, I made a lot of these sentences a bit long, apologies.

It appears fans over value the players they like and under value the ones in the dog house.
Look at some of the Tavares, Marner or Matthew trades by Leaf fans.
Many who are suggesting a bucket of pucks for them, are lashing out for the disappointment of losing to the team that knocked out the Bruins!
EDIT: https://www.capfriendly.com/armchair-gm/team/4192912
Tavares with two first round picks, sign me up, his contract will expire in two years when Quinn, Peterka ECL's expire.

Many Sabre fans under value Luukkonen, Olofsson and Jokiharju judging them by their worse games, (of course the talent is not nearly the same as the three Leafs).
Luukkoned as you said is young, but there were many games he stole but many games that he played poorly.
Olofsson has a first class wrist shot and will score regardless who are his line mates, Granato will improve his defensive game.
Jokiharju completed his fifth NHL at 23 yo when many NHL RHD are just starting to play in the NHL, he will be better next year.

Thank you for your thoughts.
No team is as bad as their losing streak and no team is as good as their winning streak.
That applies to players as well.
