Hard pass why would we want to have a more expensive Kerfoot? Small wingers who won't help get dirty rebounds in the playoffs are of no use.

yeah it's a bad deal for Vancouver, but going off of the rumors it sounds like VAN is going to move Garland for cheap.

Sure he does, he's a transition player who scores off the rush almost exclusively. He isn't a net front player or all that great on the cycle. He's a speedy middle 6 winger who is small. He's Kerfoot. He's your problem contract.

Because they overpaid him by almost 2 million and no one wants a small winger making 5 million who offers almost exclusively transition offence.

You must be thinking of a different players because Garland is very much a cycle player. He does not live off the rush. Not sure where you got that from

You very well may be the guy who sent a video with all his goals from last year and literally 90% of them were transition plays. Someone got the puck in the neutral zone and he scored shortly after. The puck getting dumped in and Vancouver recovering before the opposition had a chance to get set up isn't a cycle goal, it's a transition goal. You guys just don't get it

Being in a net scrum doesn't mean you are a net front presence. But seriously, TO needs value contracts and that is in no way Garland. He makes more than he should. You can find what he does for way less than 5 million.

fair enough, but you will just have to pay more for it, and he is always at the net front is what I am saying, hes in the scrums because he creates them

Personally I like guys who offer a lot of different things. Creating net scrums that result in very little seem less important than goals.
