Wonder if he will get loaned back, it’s a very crowed crease in the minors

I really like Peksa, he's put up good numbers in the Russian Junior leagues. Kind of curious to see where he winds up next year though. I would personally make him and McKay the Marlies two goalies. I like his upside more than a guy like Petruzzelli.

Kind of surprised he got an ELC before Akhtyamov, although I'm not complaining. Peksa is a ton of fun. Good deal!

Leaf seem to have "lot" of goalies in recent years with the same pedigree. Maybe Woll is the only to be NHL good. But there is hope for Peska and Hildeby who I suspect will the two top Marlies goalies.
Kallgren doesn't get contract offer. Mackay and Pettruzzi don't look NHLers by any means.

Still a bit early to say things like this just yet. Remember it took woll a few years to become this good. McKay and petruzelli could do the same in 2 years maybe not. Who knows

Considering there is no rush to sign russian players, they must intend on him coming over soon, not sure how many goaltenders they intend to have under contract...but somebody is going, and thats beside fixing the mess that is their NHL goaltender situation.

I don't think the Leafs goaltending is a mess. Looks like RFA Samsonov will be resigned, Woll looks like an NHL goalie, Murray if not traded is relatively cheap buyout.
RFA Kallgren is probably not resigned. Now I don't think McCay and Petrollozzi are NHL at all, so maybe it's basically two rookies goalie...though with lots European experience....Veska and Hildeby. Probably NHL vet is signed at minimum for the AHL

I do hate saying "I told you so" but....

Dubas era is over.

His legacy, the J.T. signing, the $40 million Core 4, many high Draft picks traded, bad free agents signing, very few promising prospects in the pipeline and 4 1st Rd playoff exits.

Looking forward to seeing Peksa play in NA, sad to see Dubas gone though, I liked him. Although I am excited to see what Treliving brings.
