The Kings don't need more scoring. They have plenty for significantly less expensive than Marner. They need defense, goaltending, and some truculence. Marner solves none of that.

Also, you can't have Matt Roy or Alex Iafallo.

Don't ANY Maple Leaf fans know enough to grasp that no matter what the other pieces, Cal Petersen has to be involved in any trade for Mitch Marner unless Toronto is retaining 50%?

People should make at least a half-hearted effort to research the cap situation of teams to which they are sending $11 million players.
