Los Angeles has no need for one season of Pierre-Luc DuBois. Basically, this would just be an exchange of Vilardi for DuBois because we have Kopitar, Danault, Byfield, Kupari and Lizotte at center, and we'd rather have 5 seasons or more of Vilardi, who would be cheaper than DuBois for at least the first three of them.

Have you looked at Luostarinen's stats, the guy is as productive as Wheeler is, way younger, cheaper, can play center and is RFA controlled, no chance they're trading him for Wheeler no matter how much Maurice loves Wheeler.

That is a very steep price for Hellebuyck, not sure I'd want the Devils to go through with that if offered.
