Boston is not adding cap. They can’t.

One of the big reasons they can’t is they have three 3rd pair LD making 3m+. They are not adding another one even if they could.

Zadorov has only improved in Calgary. They can get more than a 3rd elsewhere. Same goes for Toffoli, who is easily a 1st + Prospect.

the Zadorov trade was a throw away trade basically saying we need to move him, I know he says he wants to stay etc. but his cap hit is bad

If they can move Forbs + Reilly + Grz/Zboril, Zadorov would be an upgrade for sure, easier said than done obviously lol

would also take more than a 3rd to acquire Zadorov, but if they could move the necessary money out, he would be a solid upgrade

We’re hoping Zadorov signs long-term for $2-3mil/yr
