Jet say it's a start but Vancouver definitely doesn't do it so it's back to the drawing board there

There are limits to stupidity and even the Canucks idiotic management group will not move the 11 with Garland

You do realize that if the Canucks we’re willing to trade the 11th overall pick just to dump Garland that the whole league would’ve tried to trade for him by now.

Canucks easily decline. Not paying 11 to dump Garland in any universe. It's the equivalent of asking for pick 5 and Hoffman for FC's.

Canuck’s might as well throw in Quinn Hughes while you’re at it. What a horrendous trade proposal. Can’t tell if this is a troll or if you’re genuinely that clueless

Edit: so I saw you traded Dvorak + 11th overall pick for Dubois. Dvorak is worse than Garland, and is on the same contract. By your logic on the first trade, it would take more than the 11th overall to dump Dvorak. Basically the Jets are also paying to dump Dubois….

Crazy thing is the habs have won a tonne of trades, so I can see why the fans are so out of touch. I can't believe that Florida gave them that 1st for chariot. Also since they got a 1st for one year of Monahan they think every team will dump expiring contracts with 1sts

Market dictates that kind of value for some contracts though. Cap space is being sold at premium these days. Shooting for #11 to take Garland is way too much...but taking on THREE years of Garland, at almost $5.0m per...you're probably looking at a future 1st (with a pick coming back the other way) or a 2nd for FC.

Not everybody is a cap dump if they are expensive. Unlike past cap dumps, Garland is actually a good player and not far away from being worth his contract
