Both these trades are purely delusional. There is no time-line in the multivariate where the Blues trade Kyrou straight up for Marner, let alone add or take the Murray dump.

While I agree the trade above for the Blues isn't good for them, you cannot sit here and type that you wouldn't trade Kyrou for Marner straight up lol

Its pointless for blues. Marner is playmaker, he gain interest for teams with goalscorer. Kyrou is only true goalscorer in team. Trading kyrou for marner is a wash for blues. ( find another team to dump murray).

Totally fair, this was never my trade. I took it from a Blues thread! I completely agree with you tho

I can sit there and type that I would not trade kyrou for marner. We have term to control. Marner have only couple years of contract.

Of course I can. Two years of 11M Marner for eight years of 8M Kyrou is another Leafs fan wild fantasy. And that's before we even get to the part where the Blues simply cannot afford it this summer. Zero chance, dude. This trade is an NHL23 fever dream. Like pretty much every single Marner to STL trade on CF, except way worse than average.

You took it from a Blues AGM made by a Leafs fan that was clownish.

I'm sorry I don't look at every little detail of a post, including their favourite team, birth day and where they live. If you couldn't tell, I don't spend every second on this website looking to try and feel better about myself about bashing peoples threads tears of joy

AWW adorable. Go ad hominem when you get fair and obvious criticism for a wild fleece attempt AGM. It's the Leafs fan way. You certainly don't see me lashing out when some other team's fan tells me no.

Blues have no need for Murray. Also blues probably won't pay Marner what he wants on his next contract so there is no use in trading for him for 2 years.

I don't seem to be lashing out, in fact if that is what you call lashing out I worry about your PC lifestyle. I'm simply suggesting that the harsh, critical thinking you display when discussing anything with a Leafs fan, on an online website, is not beneficial to your long term health.

Minnesota doesn't trade their cheap 1c for winger prospect with major Injiury history, and whose not needed on team/ organization filled with one's

I think Hartman may be a good TDL candidate if we're out of a playoff spot, but we can't deal him this summer for anything short of an overpay. We're just too center-starved and broke.

Don't seem to be? You went to schoolyard personal attacks. Because critical thinking (this is bad now???). My health is fine, dude, just worry about trades with at least one toe in reality. I mean, you even agree twice this is trash for the Blues. So why spread it? It would never be considered for a second, just let it die on the vine.

Totally agree, I really wonder what the Wild do this offseason. Those cap hits are going hurt but overall the roster can remain mostly intact, possibly outside of Dumba

It sounds like they're just gonna run it back with largely the same group and see what shakes out. So, either 1st round bounce or barely miss and draft in the mushy middle - same as we always do.

I think it's total "tread water" mode until the heavy buyout years are over and then Guerin's gonna try and rapidly pivot to contender.

Frustrating but not much you can do with that much dead cap.

You wonder if Krill will want to stay for that. Overall it stinks, cause if they can't change much I don't see any chance of a deep playoff push. Only bright side is the amazing goal tending they have between the three guys in pipe.

Honestly, I understand and completely agree with the Praise buyout, but still to this day I don't understand the Suter. He was / is still a capable top 4 guy.

dude...go re-read the thread...you're the one initiating personal attacks completely unprovoked. The second you felt a little push back you respond with him "lashing out"? Sensitive much?

you have an opinion...that's great...doesn't make you correct. Doesn't make you wrong either. Critical thinking is great...just because you use it doesn't make your argument any more or less accurate.

I'm sure there are many who would rather have a 100pt winger at $11m vs a 70pt winger for $8m. Not everyone..but some.

100%. Kaprizov is my biggest concern. If we're perpetually stuck in the mud, I'm not sure why he'd want to stick around. And it sucks to say that, but it's the reality. He's already gonna be 29 when his contract expires, so you'd have to imagine being on a contender is priority number 1 for his next deal. The Wild have to prioritize being completely locked and loaded, ready to compete following those buyouts.

And yeah the Suter one is tricky, because the reasoning we got was that it was entirely culture related and not about his on-ice performance. Lots of pretty bad stories regarding him being toxic and negative in the dressing room. But, since none of us fans are in the room, you kinda just have to take it at face-value and trust that it couldn't be resolved.

I personally hope Krill stays, the guy has been such a bright spot for the Wild and he's amazing to watch. Would be a shame to lose him to something a previous GM did with those contracts.

Damn, also did not know that. Good on them for removing that from the locker room. I have said for years that has been the Jets biggest downfall is the lack of removing their problems from the room. Sure they removed Kane, but you also have guys like Wheeler and Scheifele who continue to make that locker room a living hell for other players / coaches.

I dare you to point out where I started the personal attacks. Or hell, where I did any personal attacks anywhere in the thread. This was the only (attempt at a) personal attack in the conversation: "If you couldn't tell, I don't spend every second on this website looking to try and feel better about myself about bashing peoples threads". Now, it certainly wasn't the harshest shot ever taken around here, but it was definitely a shot. Because he didn't like my critique, which is the same exact critique every Blues fan on here is giving 10 times a day.

I am absolutely correct about this by way of critical thinking. The Blues do not need more wingers. The Blues cannot afford to spend 11M on one player at this time. The Blues are not giving eight years of a prime, still improving top line winger for two years of a top line winger. The Blues are not going to blow their salary structure out of whack. That's before we even get to the Murray dump they are absolutely never taking AND tossing in Vrana++ on top of it all. This is straight up nuttiness fantasy that you're gonna get Kyrou and Vrana and picks AND shift 12M bucks in cap over the next two seasons onto the Blues, let alone for a guy who will be gone in two years. OBVIOUSLY.

But yeah, right now, Kyrou has more value to the Blues than Marner. You guys act like glaringly obvious reads that everyone on the other side agrees upon are just wild opinions. They ain't.

me? I don't think anything said was a personal attack...but I also couldn't care less about what anyone says or thinks on here...just enjoy the banter and discussion. Most Blues fans on here are the best to discuss with.

You're the one that pointed it out personal attacks in posts 9 and 14....so yea...sensitive

Continue framing your opinions as fact, tho.

I didn;t say you levied a personal attack, dude.

And I literally said "AWW adorable. Go ad hominem when you get fair and obvious criticism for a wild fleece attempt AGM." Where do you imagine I'm being sensitive. I was just pointing out that instead of debating the topic, he went at me. Doesn;t mean I'm wounded.

I'll tell ya what, man: when this summer ends with Marner not on the Blues and a king's ransom-and-a-half not sent to the Leafs, you can come back and admit I was right. Educated opinions can absolutely be correct when the time comes.

You have trouble reading and interpreting...Sorry about that.

I know you didn't say I levied the personal attacks

Also...do you know what ad hominem means? By using it you were the one to insinuate that a personal attack was being used.

And way to take the field on that hot take of yours. Nobody here is saying that Marner to the Blues is for sure going to happen. You want another term for that? It's called a red herring.

you can reply if ya like but I'm going to forget your name 10 minutes from now.
