There was talk that Colton Parayko will only go home to Edmonton.

And Detroit passes, We don't want a concussed goalie. And it will take more than a 4th and 5th to take Matt Murray on.

Thank you for your concern. But taking on a goalie who can not stay health and if not on the ice can not stop a thing, over a guy who can stop most things (90%)but is on the ice and makes less is the better alternative.

Seems dumb to trade two 1sts, your best defenseman and a solid NHL ready prospect for Nylander and Liljegren.

Nylander is a really good player but the Blues won’t be able to afford his next contract and this makes the defense much worse. Maybe if the Blues view him as a center like he was in his early years it would make more sense. But I don’t see any reasoning for this. We have a solid top 9. 3legitimately good forward prospects who will be ready in the next year or two. And a mismatched defense that needs an all situations guy on the left side.

Murray will cost more than that to move.

There are free agents we can get for cheaper who will be able to stay healthy and be a half decent backup to husso

Murray would be fine-ish, but can't stay healthy and is super expensive

Either pay up to get his contract off your hands, or hold on to him
