Overall, that looks like a much better Jets roster, but no thanks to Jonathan Toews. The Jets need to get younger. Move Barron over to Toews spot and move Lomberg up or bring up Limoges.

Idk if Pittsburgh would do that but the Jets don't need Ty Smith, they have the market cornered on small, puck moving dmen especially left handed ones.

He is more a prospect that may have value somewhere whether it be in the lineup or trade value. The first is the main piece.

Ya, that 13th overall spot is a good one and ripe for a nice steal.

NYR don't have the money to extend Dubois. Second problem. Zibanejad, Dubois, Chytil, Trocheck would be the center core. Having top 6 players in your bottom 6 doesn't make you a better team. And on a personal level I'm worried how emotional Dubois is, something not the way he wants it he completely shutdown. Yeah don't think NYR needs more of those guys.

He is exactly how you just described him. JUst heard over the weekend that he is open to signing in the New York area. Not sure what that means. I would think if the Rangers had a chance at him signing long term that they would move on from Trochek. Zibanejad, Dubois, Chytil your 3 centers looks nice and shiny.

Rangers pass. Everyone knows PLD wants to play for the Habs, so call Hughes. Plus, they have no cap space and they are not moving on from Trocheck, who has total NMC control.

That makes a ton of sense. Trochek is better than Dubois. I don't get this whole MTL thing. It was reported over the weekend that he would also like to play and sign in the New York area.

Canucks decline. Difference between Garland and Appleton isn't Canucks adding a 2nd.

Solid trade for the Canucks. They lose some offence, but save almost 3 mil in cap space, and considering we were playing Garland mostly on the third line, I'd rather have the 3 mil in cap space and less production than pay a guy 5 mill to be in the bottom 6. Maybe you could downgrade the 2nd to a 3rd? So Garland and a 3rd for Appleton? Because Garland isn't a bad player, we just need cap space more than we need him.

Rangers don't have the cap space for Pierre-Luc Dubois.

And Hellebuyck wants to win now, He's not signing no extension with Buffalo. Even with Hellebuyck they're not cup contenders in the east.

First of all, every team can find cap space if they really want to. Second, How many teams that are in contention of winning right now need to add Hellebuyck? Buffalo very easily could be a contender. Florida is right now and Buffalo finished only a few points behind the, Nobody knows for certain, that is why they play the games.

why would they want to? Trocheck was very good last year and PLD isn't that much of an upgrade and will cost way more vs the cap. PLD goes to the Habs.
