I would accept that offer as the Los Angeles GM. With alacrity.

Absolutely not. I'd send a case of selected pinot noir individuals from Los Olivos and Paso Robles.

Habs turned down a 1st round pick last TDL and other teams were still interested

Anderson has been sitting on cinderblocks in Habs front yard with a “for sale” sign for 2 years.

If there were teams willing to pay the price, why is he still there?

If true, Habs fans should be questioning their General Manager.

Because he is worth more than a 1st? And is valuable to a team so why trade him for less than he's worth? Power forwards are worth a lot nowadays

I think this is about what he's worth. I'd like a pick a LITTLE better than the Florida one, but I think the addition of a LHD that can be organizational depth in the event of injuries is a good value addition.

What do you think Durzi is worth, out of curiosity?

Good ones are. Highly overpaid defensive liabilities are not worth much. Without any retention, MTL probably has to pay someone to move that contract….especially in another flat cap year.

I'm a big Durzi fan. I think that he's sacrificed himself to play #2LhD because the team was stuck otherwise. I think that he's worth a late first. This is an offer for a late first plus. This is the first time I can remember that a non-Kings fan made such an offer for him. When I propose Durzi to Buffalo for the Philly second, to address their RhD weakness, Sabres fans sneer at me.

Sure they did. The only way an Anderson trade involves a first is if Montreal includes one with him to dump his salary.
