This offer doesn’t get you Middlestadt if you include Anderson imo

Its really not even close. Cozens is a stud barely scratching his potential and that'll show in the coming seasons. Buffalo simply will not move him.

He is Sabres future. You would have to really overpay

its not even really the value, there's just no one in the habs organization that fills a need for the Sabres (at this level).

Sabers counter with Olofsson, Mittelstadt, and Stillman with a 1st &2nd for Suzuki.

Love Cozens, but that is not worth it

Cozens is a point per game center who played with two rookies all year long. If he played with better line mates who know how many points he would have. He is also going to be a selkye candidate. For all that Sabres get over paid winger and two prospects that would be that wouldn’t struggle to be top 5 in organization, and couple late picks.
If they need a center they should try and get mittelstadt but that don’t have the pieces Sabres need.

I think that is an overpay. Drop the first. All those pieces at least have positive value. Unlike Anderson.

If that's an overpay, then that trade for Cozens is a massive overpay.

He’s younger and on par if not better than Suzuki. So would you trade suzuki for that? Start to answer your own question from there.
