If anything, a Keller trade should cost significantly more than a Meier trade based on term and cost control alone. Arizona (or Houston?) have Keller until he is 29. They bought his entire prime, he is going to be a key part of their future. I doubt he gets moved.

His dad's comments earlier seems to be more about how the city of Tempe will regret not having the Coyotes. I doubt it's any indication of wanting to be traded

Keller is better and has more term. Meier return is not enough.

Would probably have to get Campbell to Arizona also, and trade off more high end prospects and picks.

This gets you no where near Keller. Yamamoto is a cap dump at best after his playoff showing, Foegele has no value, Bourgeault is a C-level prospect, and that first round pick is late. This gets you nowhere near an 80 point player

That offer for Keller doesn't get it done, Tons of teams would be pursuing Keller if Bill Armstrong puts him on the market. Teams with better picks and prospects than what Edmonton has.

Meier is way better than Keller imo

Dunno about that. Scoring almost 90 points in freaking Arizona is imo better than 75 in San Jose.

Meier hasn't done much in NJ at this point.

Imo Keller is seriously underrated at this point because of where he plays.
