No it's not.

Fantilli & McTavish for Matthews is a really good return. The problem is that they will need a few years to really get moving, so this kicks off a sort of accelerated rebuild.

If the Leafs do this, they need to commit to a 3 year rebuild and also trade Marner & Nylander.

Good thing you're not then, The Ducks decline and keep rebuilding. This would be horrible for them

The f*ck we do, this deal is horrible for us. We're not giving up Fantilli OR McTavish (or Zegras, or Drysdale, or the 24 1st) for two years of Matthews.
