Man theres some ridiculous TOR posts....

I dont think any of those teams accept....Why would anyone give up a 1st for samsonov? They can offer sheet him for far less. Why would NYI throw dobson in that deal? Does Brodie get a high 2nd after the playoffs he just had? CGY says no, Lindholm is much more important and the cheaper UFA for them. Did you see the year Dube just had, hes worth more, than just a throw in. And Laughton-Koneckny have more value than taking murray, and robertsons value is the lowest its ever been, maybe you get koneckny and a bit more, but laughton gets way more than that.

You actually think TOR will add NINE new starters from outside the org?

Yeah I’m echoing above^. That trade is worth TK and the Flyers taking Murray. U probably need another 1st for Laughton to add on to that deal

I had Leafs fans telling me he’s a top 3 goalie in the league. Nearly spit out what I was drinking at the time lol. Had someone try to convince be the Flyers should trade the #7 pick for Samsonov and then let him start over Hart. They are truly a delusional fanbase

He's probably walking in free agency. Replacing him with a 40 goal scorer seems like a good trade off to me. Willy's also a Calgary born kid. Show him some Albertan love.

32nd Overall pick for a 26yr old former 1st rd pick who finished top 10 in SV% and GAA in the regular season. Which UFA goalie was better?

Samonov had bright moments. I would not give up more than 4th or 5th for his rights, and even then only if was signed below market value
