Minnesota declines due to lack of cap space. To give you an idea on how bad it is, we really don't know how we'll be able to field a full team next season even with a bunch of ELC and low wage players. We have over $14.7M in dead cap that can't be traded or magically erased. Everyone else on our roster either (a) has a NMC/NTC, (b) refuses to leave & can't be dealt (MAF), or (c) may get traded but the return will be so underwhelming that it isn't really worth it.
