Leafs don't take the Marner trade... They could prob. get more of what they need... that's not centre depth

Big no to Marner trade. Dobson would be the conversion starter.

Any Marner deal to the Islanders is likely to start with Dobson and Wahlstrom as the centre pieces. Toronto isn’t looking to rebuild with prospects and picks, they’re retooling and still contending.
