So why does any team want Hall's cap? He may not worth his 6m contact Certainly not at the price of the cost efiiciernt with controlable years Romanove and a first.
Even Ullmark with his M NTC, the team bidding on him will be limited. Gee, the Kings would much better off, offering sheeting Swayman than paying that price for Ullmarek

Isles don't have the cap space to do that and they're not gonna move Romanov after giving up a 1st for him just a year ago.

Hall is definitely worth 6mill he produced over .5ppg while playing on a 3rd line with coyle and Frederic, he practically carried his own line the whole year. He played limited PP minutes and was very very good for us in playoffs. Maybe check your facts before making an assumption that he isn’t good no more. If Monty would have placed him on krech and pastas line he easily would have been at the .7-.8ppg mark, but instead he spread the wealth throughout 4 lines

I don't think that the Kings are going to trade their first-round draft pick three years in a row. Los Angeles hasn't quite reached the Tampa Bay level of results yet. And I've done an analysis of a Viktor-Arvidsson-for-Linus-Ullmark trade because one of your fellow Boston stalwarts suggested it, and it doesn't work because there's not enough cap going back to Boston to make it worth LA's while, so Sean Walker's cap CERTAINLY isn't going to do the job.

Nobody said Hall wasn't any good any more. Read @palhal's comment over again. Immediately attacking an accusation that wasn't made is the sign of someone who is defensive about his favorite team and thus unable to make clear, unbiased evaluations of it.

Alex Iafallo had almost exactly the same year that Taylor Hall had, playing the same amount of minutes on the third line for the Kings. He has a cap hit of $4 million. So I, too, would say Hall "may not be worth his $6 million contract."
