Jets should take that, I'd take Comrie back if they shipped Helle out to another team.

Los Angeles declines. Trading Iafallo solves our Petersen problem completely, so we'll trade him for a positive return rather than as a way to facilitate a cap dump.

What do you think Iafallo’s value is? I like his game a lot, but I’d think you have to do this deal tbh. Comrie isn’t even a bad goaltender, and imo he can be flipped at no cost to a team without a backup

Conservatively, Iafallo is worth the Arvidsson return: a current second and a future third. Any team will give that to us because of Iafallo's two-way game. For example, he would immediately be Buffalo's best defensive forward. Iafallo is such a core part of our roster that I am the only LA fan who thinks he ISN'T untouchable.

You are getting a positive return, a backup better than your Dump.

Clearly, you guys don't know how this works.

Once we trade Iafallo, Petersen's cap hit becomes irrelevant because we'll be under the cap even with it. It's really simple.

Or you could, idk, use the extra cap space on Gavrikov and a Goalie.

Yeah, kinda do. Sure you could be depending on who you resign. You guys have 18 players under contract with what 7 or 8mill in space. Be close

I would give LA a 2nd and future 3rd for Iafallo, Not sure I would resign Okposo if I make this trade. Okposo looked so slow the last half of the year. Bringing in a vet winger, makes Okposo expendable.

Okposo is expendable without bringing in another winger

He is replaceable, but we need to sign a veteran winger to take his place. If the Sabres choose not to re-sign Gergensons and Okposo, it's important to bring in at least one experienced winger. Sabre fans would be thrilled to have a local player from Western NY on the team. The Townhouse would be packed every sabres game.. We shouldn't rely on two 19/20 year olds alone to fill the gap left by the departing veterans.

I love his game and I would like to see the Isles acquire him lol. He obviously wouldn’t fix all their problems but he would fix some of them.

LA isn’t just gonna give Iafallo away
We’d have to at least add a 2nd I’d bet

Once again, even the simplest concept will escape the birdbrain.

If we trade Iafallo, we will have enough cap space to sign Gavrikov, which is the whole point of the exercise in trading Iafallo (and getting a positive return for him instead of some ridiculous and inept backup goalie). Then we won't need to sign a goalie because we'll already have two of them.

People who are incompetent to opine on another team because they don't know it shouldn't embarrass themselves by proving their ignorance for everyone to see.
