Ottawa isn't trading their best Goalie prospect for a player who cant crack the lineup of a bad team.

Could you explain why the Sens would do this?

Sens need a goaltender, and as their best goalie prospect, Mads is likely to make the jump to the NHL permanently this season or next. And he's cheap, which is important to the Sens based on approaching cap issues.

I just don't see why they do this for an AHLer. They have enough of those prospects.

but the Sabres are loaded with young talent- so idk that they’re the right team to try & send Boeser to
