Got think the Sabres will move Greenway. He played for Donny G at the USDP and they are really high on him. Also he is one of the few big physical forwards that the Sabres have

This ^

Although personally,
if Donnie G keeps playing him in the Top6 i will lose it

Greenway is a 4th liner
Playing him up the lineup is nonsense

He’s going to at least start in the top 6 next year.

Switch out Skjei for Morrow, another prospect and a couple of early round picks and the canes would more than willing to accept

That Guentzel trade is really bad, man. We could get so much more for him. There is no point in even trading him though.

Why would Chicago and Buffalo do that? Send a second and they might consider

That would be a dumba$$ mistake
Greenway belongs on the 4th line, and no higher

If you want to move Guentzel to Raleigh, it's gotta be futures. Skjei just had 18 goals as a D man, this isn't something that would get considered

Who's he bumping out? JJ?

I think he ends up in the bottom six, probably next to Mitts

So say Guentzel would sign an extension in CAR, then could PIT ask for a young forward prospect along with a 1st and a 2nd?

If it's a sign and trade with a reasonable extension then yes that seems like a reasonable price

As long as it's not a JT Mller like extension, where in the summer that contract is used to keep boats stationary in the harbor as opposed to weighing down the franchise during the season

You may be right. Maybe not. I think Greenway's on the third line at best. If anything I think Mitts moves up to the top-six if there are any changes up there
