No way on that caps trade. You want the equivalent of 2 first round picks on top of the eighth pick for us to take anderson’s boat anchor of a contract, edmundson’s crap contract, and only move up 3 spots? Nope. You guys can draft Michkov then. Caps will be just fine at 8th overall.

Absolutely No Thanks from Washington. Josh Anderson is every bit the Cap Dump you’re making Mantha out to be but worse. Washington has no need to pay for Edmundson and isn’t trading a future 1st and Lapierre just to move up three spots. Horrible, horrible value for Wsh.

Anaheim declines. We know Comtois and he's a year and a half younger than Gurianov, which means he'll be under team control longer. Moreover, his Qualifying Offer is half a million dollars less than Gurianov's and no one's ever accused him of not giving 100% every shift, which is a criticism that's been leveled against Gurianov (fairly or not).
