Description

If he wins it all, you've got to keep Hill. Give him basically the same 2-year bridge deal that Binnington got. It means Barbashev & Blueger probably have to go, unless you want to move on from Martinez, Howden or Hague.

Lehner can be bought out for only $750,000 this year. Goes up significantly in years 2-4, but very manageable.

If the cap goes up 3mil instead of 1mil then you can keep Hill 3.5mil per year) and all others.

Does Lehner have trade value? Is he LTIR?
What about Brosoit?

Hill has been playing well, but he is also benefitting form Vegas' great defense.

I don't think he is a 4.5 million goalie. 3 to 3.5 seems fair for what he is doing.

If it can be shown Lehner is healthy and capable of play, he should be moveable instead of a buyout.

I would love to keep Hill at $3.5 million, but as a UFA you always seem to overpay by about 20% or more. Would be great if he would take that.

I don't think VGK is going to be able to prove Lehner is ready by June 15th or when the buyout window is after the Stanley Cup is over. I think they'd have to add a pick to get someone to take Lehner at this point, and I'd rather buy him out and keep Hill.
