My guess is that Vegas is holding Methot ransom, and their demands are a 1st rd pick.

and 100% if Methot isn't picked, Claesson is gone. Vegas has all the power, so what will it be? lose Methot? or a 1st and Claesson? Muahahahah!

Well it would suck if Claesson is gone but Ottawa has Chabot ready and Harpur did well too. To be honest I would rather just let Methot go over losing Claesson but if they take Claesson then we will still be okay.

Love the trade for Hammond, overpaid and not a very good backup. Injuries could've caused him to suck this past year but still overpaid.
