Hawks should accept that. Getting a recent 2OA pick to pair with Bedard should peak their interest even if he hasn't really lived up to his draft position yet.

I REALLY don't want to trade Colton Dach or our 2023 2nd. But, you're probably right.

Side note: It's "pique". I actually only discovered I was using the wrong spelling just a few years ago, as well. Haha

Flyers take on almost $15M in salary for an aging player in a position they don’t need for only a mid 2nd in next year’s draft, why would they go for that?

Kakko's underlying numbers have been steadily increasing. I'd be pretty excited to see what he can do in an increased role.

Yeah. Especially next to talent like Bedard, and maybe even some chemistry with Reichel, depending on how the lines shake out. I just have a REALLY good feeling about Dach. Even if he ends up no more than a bottom 6 forward, I think he will be something special. He just has this swagger about him that I love, and makes me think he can play an important role and be a fan favorite. Also, that early 2nd should be able to bring a very nice player to CHI. The ceilings on a lot of these 2nd and even early 3rd round ranked draft eligibles are super high.

Both trades are absurd for the Rangers, so stick with the Habs.

Kakko couldn’t do much with Panairin on his line so I don’t have much hope for him
