The capitals would have to move a center to take Steel, if they move Kuzy then maybe that's an option.

Fair enough, Sabres came to mind first for some reason but Goose could be dealt a lot of places.

Good luck with that - he'll be 38 by start of the season. Even at $2M, I doubt many teams are going to line up for him beyond the "future considerations" package as a favor to Guerin.

And that's probably what it would be, future considerations. If Goose wants to go, I'm sure Guerin will get something done to ship him out.
