Description

Coyotes need guys they can market too the public, their are two options I think that the Coyotes can explore which is either through Chicago or Toronto because they're both crazy mad hockey cities and since Arizona isn't and the NHL wants Arizona to succeed, Bettman will force one of these deals through. I think the Matthews one is more likely because Toronto isn't good and already makes the NHL a bunch of money and he wants to come back to Arizona multiple times he's said "Arizona is my home" and that is just a matter of time before he comes back. Obviusly Bedard is also pretty good but I think the Hawks might hang on to the first pick just because they need someone to play center now that Toews is hanging the skates.

Anyway let me know what you think. This sin't a finnished team just a team that can be marketed

Additional Details:

Leafs are finished with the Dubman gone and another disappointing finish in the playoffs. Makes sense the new GM will want to quickly move on from the old core and Matthews is from Arizona and adding him back would be the best thing for the Coyotes to keep their team. Bettman probably steps in and forces the Leafs GM to make this trade so that the NHL can market Matthews in the southwest to just like they did with John Scott and Montreal. Toronto gets there draft picks back to which helps them start a rebuild.

IMO Matthews has no intention in signing with the Coyotes..... , he likely want to go in the big US market. The Coyotes are in the worse hockey market in the NHL, and NHL is no better than fourth in major sports league in the North American So if you trade all that for one year rental so be it.

12th overall pick and 3 2nds sure as hell doesn't land you Connor Bedard.

That garbage doesn't land you Auston Matthews either.

And in 1-2 years Coyotes will no longer be in Arizona. So it really doesn't matter what you say or do.
