Devils take the deal, but I do think you are paying him too much, and also he's much better at winger than C.

Re-sign Jarry over Hill, get Bertuzzi outta there and replace him with Bunting, overpay to Yegor, you need more AAV on Barbashev, keep Guentzel rather then do that trade. That makes us worse, not better.

Not bad but there’s definitely some changes on this roster that need to be made

Yeah I'd rather have Hill for cheaper. Guentzel trade makes us younger. People are forgetting Necas had a 70 point season. Hes only 24. Bunting?

I think he is better in the middle of the ice defensively. He has that long reach and quick stick. Great in mitral zone breaking up plays. So I still view him as an out-of-place-center.

Sharangovich probably gets
1-year: $2.05m (QO amount)
2-year: $1.75m (straight to UFA)
3-year: $3.0m
4-year: $3.5m
5-year: $3.75m

(Or thereabouts)

I used to love Yegor, but 3C was very much up to the taking this year and he not only didn't earn that position, he barely deserved any position. Weak on the puck, weak on the boards, just never found his game. I feel you are talking a lot of his potential there, but I can't grade on what he could be, only what he showed this season.

Lindy wouldn’t put him at 3C since he wasn’t winning faceoffs. (Not that Jesper Boqvist was). And because we had Haula and/or Mercer there at other times. I think most of the year, he looked better than Boqvist. And every year he is a better and better skater (which is ironic because that was the ding against him early in his draft years).

The Boqvist point I would really push back on. I thought he had a really nice year overall when he was on that 3rd line. He had tough stretches, but not as much as Yegor.

He had some good moments, can skate like the wind, but his shooting and passing is AHL-worthy. Sharangovich is a bit lighter on the forecheck, better defensively in open ice, skates pretty well, but can put the puck on a dime.

We need to merge them into one super-player….”Jesgor Sharanboqvich”. Full package.

In the end, it's likely the end for both of them in NJ. I could see Boqvist improve on a team that lacks depth and lets him just be a decent middle-six forward without being jerked in and out of the lineup. Sharagovich needs similar treatment. He'd get destroyed in Toronto (where I saw some trade on here mentioned) because I don't feel he can handle pressure, but Arizona maybe? Or if he goes untendered or would be willing to sign that 2yr $1.75m deal with Tampa so he can be happy in the state of Florida (where he and the wife seem to spend all the time they can), then he has a shot.

Wings pass not enough compensation going to make 2 years at 6.25. swapping this year's pens and isles first has to be part of the deal

Carter obviously blocks. Who knows about Petry. Putting a lot of weight on those trades going through.

FLA and NJD trades I'm cool with. I think I'd pass on Garland - would rather go after Zucker/Bunting in free agency. I'd definitely prefer to make a run at Jarry - even Anderson or Varlamov - over Hill. The CAR trade is a tough one - but if Necas is coming to to play 3C I think I'd pass

If people are offering a pick, I would keep Sharangovich…at a minimum for 1-year (will be RFA again in 2024). Then decide if he deserves a long-term deal or not.

Boqvist can be replace by Tyce. We don’t have a guy who does all the things that Yegor does.

That's not really even the reason I was thinking haha. More that it's not a contending team. I don't see any reason for him to waive to move and to a worse team

Yeah at the end of the 24/25 season which means he has this season 23/24 and 24/25 left which is 2 years. I legit just clicked on the penguins and it clearly states that he is a ufa in 2 years. I wish I could attach the SS

I understand there's an alarmingly high number of adults in this country that can't read - it's okay. Trust me - he has one year left. Trust us Pens fans who have had to live with this for the past 17 months. We know what's going on

EDIT: Your link is to Petry - the Wings trade is for Carter. Looks like just a misunderstanding on your part

Yeah you are wrong it says it on Google and on this site that he clearly has 2 years before becoming a ufa, guess you should be a better fan and know your team.

Literally go to cap friendly homepage click penguins and you will see petry has 2 years left
