Keep the picks and sign a few stop gap UFA's until the D prospects are ready. Detroit says no thanks.

Durzi or Addison but not both, sign a cheap ufa like Holl to fill that third pair. I don't think that's the deal but I don't mind taking Murray for a year

With Dubas at the helm, I would have said TOR makes that trade all day. I assume the new GM will see “1st round pick” and draft a massive D man that can’t skate.

Love the trade idea tho.

I mean I would. RH Dmen don't grow on trees. Dude had 39 points on a 2nd pairing role. Not sure why LA would be shopping him

Acquiring Murray and then Buyout him. Getting a better Draft pick + we can sign good back up. Have you seen Holl play? Wings should stay away from him LOL.

Because Clarke and Spence are ready, and Durzi has defensive issues. In a protected 3rd pairing/PP specialist he'll be perfectly fine.

It's the kind of unremarkable vet we sign to fill a hole though. He's not as bad as he's made out to be in Toronto, he's just under a microscope there plus they play him 18 minutes a night on the 2nd pair. Shelter him a bit he'll be adequate.
