Orlov probably gets closer to $6.5m, O'Reilly probably closer to $6m, Bertuzzi closer to $6m. You're insane to trade Ullmark for nothing, he will get a 1st from someone. I also think you could get some more back for Hall, and quite a lot more for Gryz. I don't hate the lineup though.

Although I personally think Ullmark should stay, he had 6 bad games while injured and now everyone wants to trade our (soon-to-be) Vezina-winning .938 goalie. Plus the fact the Ullmark splits starts with Swayman is the reason Swayman is so good. Give him 55+ games and he will probably not look the same.

Don’t see Ully willing to go to SJ, they won’t be competitive for the life of his contract. Can’t see SJ trading for him for same reason.

Hawks trade is bad.

# of UFA signings unnecessary and light in terms of $ anywsy.

Agreed on the Orlov / Bertuzzi salary # ...... Frank Seravalli put something out that said he thinks the Bruins can resign Bertuzzi for $5.25 which got me excited, but still don't think it's logical

Ullmark has a 16 team no movement clause.... My hope was that if they went to him and said hey we want to move you to SJ, you can play every game there with no competition and they're gonna extend you - that that may persuade him

Even if both sides were willing, that’s a horrible trade. Take out Ullmarkand it’s close to fair. Lol.

If he really likes it here I could see him in the $5m-$5.5m range for 7 years, with RNH/Hyman as comparables

Yeah that's a good couple of comps.... Thing that worries me is in their exit interviews, neither of them sounded like they would be willing to take a haircut to stay

Whoever signs Orlov for 6.5 will be making a huge mistake. He's very solid but he's 31 and a 5 year deal for a player like him never ages well. look at Chairot and Petry.

Hey I never said I agreed with it, but that's what he will get.

As much as some Bruins fans would like all this to happen, do you really think the cap goes up that much? I can also see Bertuzzi and Orlov getting more but for shorter term due to Bertuzzi’s injury history and Orlov’s age. Ullmark and Hall leaving would make me sad 😢
