Honestly, it's probably best to just keep the 1st and buyout Murray, rather than trade him and lose draft assets. You only owe him $687,500 in 23-24 & $2mill in 24-25 with a buyout.

Why not just include Timmins in the Murray trade?

Hawks would have no interest in Timmons, and the best Leafs get back in that Murray trade is the Rangers '23 2nd.

I made the first trade with Timmons, then went back to move murray. Both trades aren't to particular with the Blackhawks, both are mostly being moved for cap.

I'm more looking at the signings if they are a reasonable price for each player or if I'm out to lunch.

I understand the draft capital is something that the Leafs need, however I think the leafs would like all the cap space they can get next season and 2 mil is just too much. But I could be wrong, it's also possible they leaf Murray on LTIR, (Best of both worlds)
