The cost to dump Bailey is a 2nd, don't really see the point in dumping him then having a 1 for 1 pick swap where we drop a round while getting nothing else in return. Also Boston laughs at that offer

Bailey has one year remaining at a 5 M AAV. NY shouldn’t have to give up more than a second to deal him, and these late round pick swaps r kind of ridiculous to read through tbh.

It’s cause Ottawa gave up a second and a fifth to dump Zaitsev…. But bailey isn’t nearly as bad at hockey as Zaitsev is and his actual salary is lower.

Bruins say no, not taking back Johnston and would prefer a 23 pick, still think someone would offer more value
